To help little ones feel safe, we offer iPads above our treatment chairs, soft weighted blankets, The SleeperOne system for more comfortable local anesthetic delivery, and laughing gas when appropriate. For children who need additional support, we also offer in-office IV sedation in partnership with Pediatric Anesthesiologists. Many of our patients benefit from desensitization visits, positive reinforcement, and a child-centered communication style that helps them feel understood and in control throughout their appointment.

As a pediatric dental practice, we handle toothaches, broken teeth, trauma, swelling, and other urgent dental concerns for children, and we do our best to offer same-day appointments when possible to relieve discomfort and protect your child’s smile. For after-hours issues, our voicemail will guide you to the right place based on whether the emergency is dental or orthodontic. Dental emergencies are routed to Dr. Lindsay (or the on-call pediatric dentist), and orthodontic emergencies are routed to our partnered orthodontic team. In some situations, we may ask you to send a photo so we can better understand what’s happening. Whatever the scenario, we’ll follow up with a phone call to talk through what’s going on and help you decide the best next step for your child.
